
“O My Devotees, who have committed excesses against their own selves, do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Surely, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed He is the most Forgiving, the Merciful.”

2. Al-`Afuw (The Pardoner):
This has another part of forgiveness. This name occurs in the Qur’an 5 times.
3. Al-Tawwab (The Acceptor of Repentance):
This name of God is mentioned in the Qur’an about 11 times.
4. Al-Haleem (The Forebearing):
This name is mentioned 15 times in the Qur’an.
5. Al-Rahman and Al-Raheem (The Most Merciful and Compassionate):
These names are the most frequent in the Qur’an. Al-Rahman is mentioned 57 times and Al-Raheem is mentioned 115 times.
Allah’s forgiveness is always there for a SINCERE repenter:
O you who have believed, repent to Allah with sincere repentance. Perhaps your Lord will remove from you your misdeeds and admit you into gardens beneath which rivers flow [on] the Day when Allah will not disgrace the Prophet and those who believed with him. Their light will proceed before them and on their right; they will say, “Our Lord, perfect for us our light and forgive us. Indeed, You are over all things competent.”
