The Holy Prophet Muhammad – may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said :
The Prayer (Salat) is the Ascension (Miraj) of the believer
This is our own, personal ‘Vehicle of Light’, which has the power to enlighten us, open our heart and the subtle centres of the heart and bring us nearer to our Lord.
Then we will realise the true meaning of the verse:
Prostrate yourself and draw near
The Clot ( Al-Alaq) Qur’an 96:19
Verily, in the creation of the heavens and the earth, and in the succession of night and day, there are indeed messages for all who are endowed with insight
